Since the video was made she has gotten a CI (Cochlear Implant) and has begun the process of learning to hear in a new way. But I just found her story really inspiring and I’m going to have her blog in my blogroll if you wanna check her blog out!
oh wow. i definitely cried watching this! obviously, she had to make the choice she did, but to know how much it was going to impact her life and record sounds she loved was an amazing idea. and her attitude towards her new life and condition was really humbling.
